Our History
Only The Name Has Changed
Spectrum Enterprise
"My journey began with a leap of faith in 1989. Fresh out of college, I moved to South Carolina to find a new path for my growing family. After Hurricane Hugo hit the Carolinas, I spent time working in the family business, but I soon realized that post-disaster construction wasn't my calling. That changed when my father pointed me toward 'this auto glass thing.' I interviewed with Russ Maskie, who took me under his wing to learn the trade. It was three years of hard work, but I was hooked. I spent the next several years honing my craft, including a seven-year tenure with Safelite where I mastered the mobile glass industry. After years of working as a 1099 contractor under the name Spectrum Enterprise, I was ready to step out on my own. Within two years, Spectrum Auto Glass was born."
Spectrum Auto Glass, LLC.
"In early 2000, Spectrum Auto Glass, LLC set out to build a new brand. We quickly gained popularity as the 'new kid on the block,' serving as contractors for major outfits across South Carolina, including Auto Glass South, Windshield Specialist, and Vision Auto Glass. We hit the ground running, earning the trust of insurance companies statewide and building Spectrum into a household name. However, in 2010, tragedy struck our family business when Mrs. Stacy Zoucha was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. To focus on family and her health, Spectrum closed its doors in 2014."
Nicks' & Cracks Auto Glass, LLC.
"In 2015, our family moved back to the Midwest for a fresh start. Being near family made it easier to care for Mrs. Stacy, but South Carolina was still in our hearts. Within a year, we made the bold decision to return. We sold everything we owned to buy a single van and re-enter the auto glass industry. Reaching out to old colleagues, we earned a second shot and launched a new, family-owned brand: Nicks' & Cracks. We poured everything into it, managing every detail as a family. However, after navigating significant financial challenges, we made the difficult decision to close our doors in 2024. But as our history shows, we’ve always found a way to break through the cracks."
Mrs. Jones Auto Glass, LLC.
"They say the third time's a charm, and for us, this is the one. Forming Mrs. Jones Auto Glass, LLC isn't a rebound from the past; it's a evolution. After leaving the 'W-2 world' behind, we focused on one goal: forming the right crew to install auto glass our way. Our vision is to build the premier windshield installation company in the region. By restructuring, we’ve brought better people into our corner and prioritized radical transparency in our communication—both with our customers and within our team. Starting from the ground up in 2026, we are working harder than ever to deliver excellence, welcoming AI and cutting-edge technology to ensure a smoother, more efficient operation for you. We are more than just a glass company; we are Mrs. Jones Auto Glass, LLC."
